Studio Workshop: Bowls , Bowls & More Bowls

Interested in making serving bowls to use in your home?  Join me for a bowl intensive workshop in my studio.   We will make a variety of serving bowls from start to finish using basic hand-building techniques.  This class is perfect for beginning and intermediate students. 

This workshop will be a three class series. The first two classes will focus on making and the third class will focus on glazing. Students will be encouraged to take work home to complete or are invited to use open studio hours to complete any unfinished pieces.  Open studio hours will be announced at the first class.

Class dates include: Thursday August 31,  Thursday September 7th and Thursday September 21st from 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Cost: $125.00. Price includes 25 pounds of clay and a variety of commercial glazes.

Art in the Park - Blowing Rock NC

Art in the Park was created in 1962 by a handful of area artists and craftspeople to showcase local talent. Today, Art in the Park is host to 90 artisans at each show. Some of the best local and regional artists and craftspeople showcase their handcrafted jewelry, pottery, fiber, glass, photography, painting and more.
